Tickets except ban appeals need a linked Minecraft account. Banned players can open a ban appeal without joining to link. Store purchases do not need a link. Checkout only needs a username that has played on the network.
How linking works
- Sign in to your account
- Open the link flow from the account page
- Enter the one-time code in-game
