Events
King of the Hill - Tickets
- Added rule 'Sudden Death' - When checkpoints are enabled and the controlling faction has achieved all three checkpoints the capzone is no longer contested when opponents stand on it.
- Added rule 'Majority Turnover' - When the capturing faction is outnumbered on the capzone the capzone will be turned over to the larger faction.
King of the Hill - Legacy
The original King of the Hill system. Capturing faction is reported on the sidebar, in chat and website.
Palace
Overworld Palace will use the ticket system to maintain competitive integrity. All Palaces afterwards will be put to a community poll (Tickets vs. Legacy)
Conquest
Exact port of typical Conquest game rules.
Event Schedule
- Weekdays will feature two King of the Hill events, one at 3:00PM ET and another at 8:00PM ET.
- Palace will start at 12:00PM ET each Saturday.
- Conquest will start at 6:00PM ET each Wednesday.
- End of the World will be Sunday, November 1st to avoid Halloween night.
Change Log
Here's everything that we've changed from Map 7 to 8:
- Miner now uses Copper armor.
- Guardian now uses Iron armor.
- Guardian now renders green/red particles to show if you're in an ally or enemy Guardian zone.
- Obfuscation has been implemented as a game rule for events and will hide players nameplates from third-partying factions while inside the event zone.
Media Applications
Requirements:
- At least one video with over 1,000 views uploaded on HCFR within the last month.
- At least one upload per month (does not need to be on HCFR)
- Good content that promotes the server in a positive light.
- Respected member in the community.
Staff Applications
Requirements:
- Over the age of 18
- No affiliation with participating factions
- No affiliation with competing servers
- Proven track record of being a positive influence on HCFR
